8th Annual Petaluma Invitational Band Review

Start time: 9:30 AM (get there as early as 8:30 AM for a good
seat)
End time: approx. 11:00 AM
Best place to view: 6th and B Streets, all bands perform here
Number of bands: 16 (12 high schools, 4 middle schools/junior highs)
Organized by: Petaluma High School Music Boosters
Awards Ceremony: 1:30 PM, Durst Field at Petaluma High School

Student Information
What time to show up: Check-in time for all students: 7:30 AM.
Some students have a Friday afternoon or early Saturday AM “job
assignment” which requires them to show up at an earlier time

Things to remember: Have long hair put up, no jewelry (rings, watches, earrings, etc), no makeup, clean-up/shave facial hair
What to bring: black socks, white T-shirt, money for lunch
What to do: Go to Band Room (D-6), put on your uniform, then get instrument, go to black-top, tune, warm-up, get in block formation, and perform.
What to do after performance: Put away instrument, re-hang uniform and put away, make sure you report to and complete your “job assignment” on time (see student assignments). Go to parade “Competition Zone” and watch other bands perform.
What time can you leave: If you have already finished your “job assignment” before the performance, you can leave after the performance. If your job assignment is after the performance, you may not leave until after your job assignment is completed. The last remaining students will be released at 3:30 PM.
MUSIC BOOSTERS! WE NEED TO BORROW YOUR SHADE CANOPIES!
We need to borrow as many as 5 shade canopies for the Band Review. These canopies are very expensive to rent. If you can lend us one and perhaps bring it to the multi on Friday afternoon between 3-6 pm, please e-mail haire@comcast.net. Thanks!
